What's new from Family Search?

These are just some updates and ideas that you may have
missed on Family Search - wanted to make sure you were in the loop.

Do you have a new Temple and Family History Leader?

We have some suggestions, certainly not directives, of how he could organize his Ward Family History if he were so moved by the Spirit after viewing them.

One is a Ward Family History Planner

This is merely a special excel book which has four sections (by quarter) per year.
Each section has a place for an auxiliary member to weigh in on what their family history
events are going to be that quarter.  There is a link for EQ President, Primary, Young Women/Young Men and Relief Society.  Each link they click on gives them ideas from Family Search that they can ponder and then list what they decided and the date.

This is great because helps the Bishop keep a pulse on the ward so that when his quarterly report is due to the Stake, the  Stake President knows how many events are being planned and if the Community is involved, the High Councilor over Family HIstory may want to ask the Area Consultants to lend a hand in the event.

Please download the planner before you personalize it for your ward.
We would like you to send us your email if you choose to download this.
