The First Presidency has asked us to work with the 11-year-olds to help them prepare for Young Women and Young Men's programs. Those turning 12 in the year 2020 will enter in January as 11-year-olds. Will they be prepared?
In February of 2018, President Oaks and his wife, under direction from the Prophet gave a great presentation at RootsTech that we are to start preparing them for Young Women's and Young Men's in this fantastic address:

In September of 2019 - A wonderful article shows how to help them progress:
THIS WEEK:
In the Church's article about Working a Family History Plan, you can see that the Primary is clearly included in Elder Renlund's directions of what each Ward family History Plan should contain:
"In his instruction, Elder Renlund gave examples of what a plan might address:
- Involving the ward’s 10- and 11-year-old children in temple and family history service.
- Encouraging children and youth to qualify for and use a limited-use recommend at the appropriate age.
- Involving every new convert in temple and family history service.
- Encouraging new converts to obtain and use a limited-use recommend.
- Helping ward members enter the first four generations of their family into the FamilySearch Family Tree.
- Helping specific individuals prepare for the temple (as assigned by the bishop).
- Encouraging temple attendance without establishing quotas or reporting systems. " ~ Family Search Article December 2019
We have attached a sample Family History Annual Planner for your Wards. Please make sure Each Ward receives this instruction. The Handbook2 has outlined that the Presidency is to help the children prepare for Temple Service.
11.2.2.2
Ward Primary President and Her Counselors
Members of the ward Primary presidency fulfill the following responsibilities. The Primary president may assign her counselors to oversee some of these responsibilities.
They minister to all in Primary to help children, adults, and families make and keep sacred covenants.
They participate in the work of salvation. The president could ask one member of the presidency to look for opportunities for children and adults in Primary to participate in missionary work. She could ask the other presidency member to look for opportunities to participate in temple and family history work.
They minister to children. They learn the children’s names and become familiar with their talents, interests, and challenges. They look for ways to strengthen children individually and help them participate in Primary. They work with parents to help children with disabilities participate in Primary (see 11.8.6).
They help children prepare for baptism and confirmation and to honor their covenants.
They help girls and boys understand the blessings, work, and power of the priesthood. They also help boys prepare to be ordained to the office of deacon in the Aaronic Priesthood.
They help children prepare for temple service. They may coordinate with the ward temple and family history leader to help children prepare family history names for temple ordinances.
Under the direction of the bishopric, they plan and hold an annual Temple and Priesthood Preparation meeting.
