Understanding Chapter 25 of the Handbook as it pertains to Families, children and Teens

 Dear Leaders, 

We would like this meeting to be with your family History team of Consultants, TFHLeaders from each Ward, High Counselors over FH who train the Stake Consultants, and any of the RS Counselors over Family History and EQ Counselors over Family History in the wards. Primary first Counselors over Family History will be equally interested.  We hope you will invite anyone with a Family History Calling to join us.  God Bless you in your efforts to fulfill your wonderful calling.

A few months ago, I  believe in December, there was a shift in working with children and families.  The wording in the handbook was changed to meet the focus of learning about family history TO THE PARENTS VERSUS THE Primary Counselor training them.   This was a shift away from the RS Counselor and Primary Counselor over FH directly to the parent with the Counselors offering ideas and we have the link to the video that was so beautifully done.  https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/church/news/president-and-sister-oaks-share-personal-experiences-during-family-discovery-day?lang=eng&cid=email-shared
