The Leadership Meeting Takeaways...

As we sat there listening with rapt fascination on our faces, I stole a sidelong glance at my husband. He was just as enthralled as I was. Here was Elder Bednar practically giving our "Where do you Fit in the Ward Family History Puzzle" slide deck. For the past three years, we have been working every angle from RootsTech PLMs right into our messages to our Stake Presidencies. We looked at each other and shook our heads in the affirmation. "Is that what I think I just heard?" Ted smiled and said, "It sure was." In our meetings for the past three years, they FS Leaders and the Brethren would mention that the Prophet wanted all new members to get to the Temple within 60 days with their own names. We found ways to ensure that and it all starts with the Consultant going out with the FT Missionaries.

We kept getting questions like, "Where is it written that we have to get them there within 60 days?" Now, and this is really great, you can watch the Leadership Meeting for 2020 and yes, it is in there, with conviction and with fervor.

We have included a few slides here for activities for the Young Men and Young Women to include a new YMYW member and become friend shipped by the whole organization. After to PLEASE add audio to my presentations, I finally got it done tonight. It's not perfect, but I think you will be as motivated to achieve the goal of helping a new member as much as we are.

A Special thank you for the two examples at the end of the deck, Ms. Annie Wheeler and Brother and Sister Sanchez, who met, fell in love while he was being taught, then a year after his baptism, they were sealed in the Temple.

Also, read the story about the Vineyard Ward who, one girl raised the numbers in her ward by 30 points in one night, having the Young Adults go out and work with people in the ward in their homes. Each printed out at least one card, and the numbers jumped off the page.
