Join us at the Camelback Stake Family History Fair!
Ted and I are hosting another Stake Family History Fair. The pics say it all. and Pencils from Oriental trading which said, "CAMELBACK STAKE FAMILY HISTORY TREE-AGE TEAM". Each booth had a laminated sheet that told the patron where to go next after receiving the knowledge to be imparted at the booth. The main goal was to help as many people find their families as possible
There were several opportunities
7 - After Ancestry, if they didn't have Partner Access, they were guided to #5
9- After getting their tree Analyzed, if they didn't have any of the other partners, they were sent to #5
12 - After viewing the My Heritage demonstration of colorization of black and white pictures, if they didn't have an account, Partner access took care of it.
The missionaries are always a great help to Fran unload all of her scrapbooking albums.
booth 1 - Our Greeter handed out a sheet which in column 1, said "this is my problem," Column 2 says, this is where you go to fix it...column 3 shows what the sign looks like - then the adventure begins - they go into the cultural hall and look for the picture that matches what they need.
Here’s the sign. Parents could let their kids color Family History coloring pages (crayons were bought in bulk from Oriental Trading) play Family History board games like "Return to Heaven" and "20 Ways to gather Israel". We also got some blank puzzles (5 x 7) from amazon that they could draw their family on, then break up the puzzle and put it into a ziplock bag to take home. If you would like the directions for creating one of these games, send us an email with the request - naswfamilyhistory@gmail.com

Do you have Ancestry? Have you taken The Ancestry DNA test? Do you know how to enable thrulines to see if your research matches your DNA? We were able to show them how sometimes people were just born in a certain area and assumed citizenship automatically. So if your heritage was actually Japanese and your parents were stationed in Ireland with the MIlitary or Job, you would be called Irish, but in reality, you are really Japanese. We were able to Analyze and make suggestions for opportunities for success.
.
