Why do we need goals? Can we just say we'll get to it?
Good Question!
In ancient Roman religion and myth, Janus is the god of beginnings, gates, transitions, time, doorways, passages, and endings. He is usually depicted as having two faces, since he looks to the FUTURE and PAST at the same time.
Have you ever heard that the best predictor of future behavior is past performance?
This is your chance to change the outcome!
It's a toss-up but some people think it was Mark Twain and others think it was American Psychologist Paul Meehl.. The point is, if your past behavior was to put Family History on the back burner, don't believe that quote - it's not too late to change!
We all procrastinate but what if we were sitting in a jail cell and someone was outside the cell just dangling the keys just out of our reach? How would you feel if you knew your family member had the capability to free you from Spirit Prison and didn't.
That would be really sad.
It is a proven true statement that if we write down our goals and aspirations for success during the next year, we become more accountable. We become more reliable in our efforts because we don't want to let down the process.

Every week, you can choose to do something towards your family history work
Sunday, look at your Family Search Account.
Make a list of any green entries that you can click on and reserve.
Monday, log in to your Family Search account
go to: https://www.familysearch.org/campaign/partneraccess
Sign up for free accounts that you can use in your research.

Tuesday - find a picture you like and go to the person's profiile.
Click on Memory and upload it. Tag any family members so they can enjoy it too!
Wednesday - consider going to a more mature member's home (elderly or someone without a lot of computer training). Help them log into Family Search. Help them upload a memory. Listen to one of their stories while they talk, you type. Then you upload it to Memories.
Thursday
Teach someone in your family how to use Partner Access
Friday
Next time you are with Grandma or Grandpa, record them doing something they love.
Singing, Dancing videos are great to have. Once they are gone it's only a memory in the minds of someone who actually witnessed it.
